Spring is here and all the fabric companies are introducing their new designs and colors. I have been looking for a color or style trend but what I see is more “anything goes” than a specific theme. What is more apparent in color is what is not available. For example, if you are looking for red then good luck finding it but if you want salmon color you will have a lot more options. Gray is still a great neutral and it appears that there is less metallic and glittery fabrics being introduced.
One thing that is happening in the fabric world is that many of the manufacturers from luxury high end to the more economical lines are offering fabrics that are suitable for indoor/ outdoor use. The designs and colors have become very sophisticated which allows you to use them indoors as well. The indoor/outdoor fabrics are a great choice for families with young children because they are very durable and are stain repellent. Many of the luxury fabric houses are now offering more economical fabrics in solids and textures in addition to their more expensive lines. So now people with a smaller budget will have the opportunity to get some great looks that were not able to afford previously.
The spring market is offering all kinds of options in color, style and price points This makes good design affordable for people in all different price brackets.
Stay tuned to see what the new furniture introductions are for the spring market.
